4月14日，法院对该案作出判决，被告人曾静犯故意杀人罪，判处死刑，缓期二年执行，同时赔偿刘丽亲属4万余元的丧葬费。

收到判决后，刘丽的女儿毛女士告诉中国新闻周刊，他们对刑事判决部分不服，将向检察院提交抗诉申请，“我母亲遇害11天后才被发现，凶手至今未道歉，我们希望她能得到严惩”。

该案发生于2025年3月19日。毛女士介绍，当天17时许，曾静与她的母亲刘丽因柴火归属问题发生争执，两人相互辱骂并发生了拉扯。后来，两人拉扯至附近一处空置多年的房屋门口，曾静凭借体力优势将其母亲放倒在地，“我妈妈个子小，根本打不过，很快就被她骑到了身上”。

根据赣州市人民检察院的起诉书，倒地后的刘丽用手抓了曾静的右脸，后者遂用左手将其控制住，并用右手捡起石头，朝着刘丽的太阳穴位置连砸了十余次，直至没了动静。发现刘丽停止呼吸后，曾静将其拖至空置房屋的厨房角落，并用杂草遮挡了尸体。

值得关注的是，曾静在杀害刘丽后，继续捆好柴火背回了家里。后来，她还连续两次转移刘丽的尸体。

起诉书显示，案发当晚凌晨3时许，曾静来到空屋，将刘丽的尸体拖至距离案发现场约100米的一处茬棚沟里，并用树枝加以掩盖。次日凌晨3时许，曾静携带锄头再次来到藏尸处，用泥土掩埋了刘丽的尸体，又捡来海绵床垫遮挡了土堆。

因刘丽曾在案发前提及想要去外地看望亲人，在案发后的一周，家人联系未果，也没有在意其动态。直到2025年3月27日，毛女士得知母亲没有返回老家，也不在亲戚家里，她向公安报警求助，当地立即展开搜寻。

同年3月30日，因尸体掩埋地出现异味，刘丽终于被发现。经法医鉴定，不排除刘丽被他人使用钝器多次击打头面部导致颅脑损伤而死亡。

“搜寻期间，警方曾多次问询，她都表现得很自然，后来通过人脸查询和视频追踪等手段才锁定了她。”毛女士称，他们与曾家相隔仅有50米，也是同村同族人。案发前几年，两家就因曾静盗窃等问题起过争执，因而平时少有来往，“没想到她会因为这点琐事下死手”。

当地村干部也向警方证实，曾静确实与刘丽两人是亲属关系，此前发生争执后，村委会和派出所曾参与调解，“（两人争执的是）野生树木柴枝，谁都可以去捡的”。

2025年3月31日，曾静因涉嫌故意杀人罪被刑事拘留，后经瑞金市人民检察院批准，于2025年4月14日被瑞金市公安局执行逮捕。

中国新闻周刊从判决书中看到，案发近一个月后，曾静家属向刘丽家属支付2万元现金，但未取得其谅解。

2025年11月19日上午，此案在江西省赣州市中级人民法院开庭审理。法院审理认为，被告人曾静杀人后转移并埋藏尸体，归案后毫无悔意，拒绝认罪，其犯罪手段极其残忍，主观恶性极大，犯罪后果极其严重，依法应当严惩。不过，因其具有坦白情节，且审理时已经年满七十五周岁，依法对其可不判处死刑立即执行。

毛女士向中国新闻周刊回忆，一审庭审时，曾静承认了打死自己母亲的事实，但态度十分嚣张，“说我妈妈不经砸，砸了几下人就没了，甚至说她该死之类的话”。

这些年里，毛女士及其兄妹几人均在外地谋生，父亲也时常到周边打零工，只有母亲刘丽常年在家。案发当天，毛女士还回老家与母亲吃了午饭，“没想到那是最后一次吃妈妈做的饭”。
